In January 2020, I relocated to Winston Salem to attend Winston Salem State University. I am still attending majoring in Nursing with a concentration in Birth-Kindergarten. It has now been four years since I began working in childcare as I started studying in this field in my junior year of high school. Outside of work and school I enjoy baking and spending time with my younger sister who is 5 years old, as well as other family and friends. Working with children is important to me because it means helping a child development learning and social skills that will help them in their future endeavors. With it being especially important for me to interact with your child(ren), I also believe in interacting with you (Parents) as well! So excited to meet you all!

Hello, my name is Lisa Freeman and I'm excited to serve your child this school year. I've served this community since 1997 in the public-school setting at Cliffside Elementary. I later became a dual major at North Carolina Central University, in Child Development & Birth to Kindergarten. My learning philosophy is grounded in the belief that all children should be met at their learning level and the classroom should prompt a learning environment both engaging intellectually & hands on experiences.  I'm a proud mother of three children who keep me grounded. I enjoy travelling and great music.
